Ms. Lynde Tay was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an
Advocate and Solicitor in December 1997. Before she was admitted as an
Advocate and Solicitor, she was attached with Law Faculty of University of Malaya
as a Temporary Research Assistant in the year 1996-1997. Ms. Lynde Tay
practiced as a legal associates in M/s Vohrah & Tan Chee Lan since 1997 until
September 2000. From October 2000 until June 2003, she practiced as a legal
associates in M/s Rohani Soon & Associates in Melaka. She joined M/s Sidek
Teoh Wong & Dennis, Kuala Lumpur in July 2003 until May 2008 when she
moves up to Kuala Lumpur. She was a partner in M/s Sheron Lee & Company
from July 2008 until June 2009. Ms. Lynde Tay joins the firm since July 2009
and currently head the firm’s litigation department.

AREAS OF WORK :-
CONVEYANCING - tenancy agreements, sale & purchase of property between
individuals, wills, etc.

DRAFTING - assisted in drafting and advising the Association of Finance
Companies of Malaysia pertaining to successful passing of the Hire Purchase
(Amendment) Act 2007, etc.

LITIGATION - general debt collection, loan recovery and other banking
litigation, execution proceedings including but not limited to Bankruptcy,
Judgment Debtors Summons, Garnishee proceedings, Winding-up, oppression
Petition, personal injuries and death claims from motor accidents, foreclosure,
reduction of Company share capital, divorce proceedings and drafting of
Separation Deed, defended various traffic and minor criminal offences, Bill of
Cost for taxation, hire-purchase, landlord and tenant, probate and administration
matters, defamation, employment, conducting full trial at the Subordinate Court
and High Court as well as conducting appeals before the High Court, Court of
Appeal and Federal Court, etc.

CORPORATE - drafted Joint Venture Agreements, Shareholders Agreements,
Letters of Guarantee, Listing Agreements, Sole Distributor Agreements,
Settlement Agreements, Agreements for Sale and Purchase of Shares,
Partnership Agreements, etc.

Ms. Lynde Tay has served as a committee member for Selangor Bar
Continue Legal Education and Young Lawyers Sub-Committee for term for the
year 2011-2012, 2010-2011 and 2009-2010.
